Jason Butler, PE

Principal, Healthcare Market Leader

As a Senior Associate within the firm, Jason also acts as a Senior Project Manager, having overall leadership and supervision of a project by defining the project, making sure it conforms to the contractual agreement the firm has made to the client, coordinating and monitoring the work and delivering a final project on time and within the prescribed budget.  He has extensive experience in electrical investigation as well as the design and construction for a broad range of facilities, with a particular focus on healthcare facilities.

Matthew Merli, PE, LEED AP BD+C

Associate Principal, Science & Academic Market Leader

In his role as Project Manager, Matt serves as the overall supervisor of a project and the primary contact to clients throughout project development. He understands all phases of a particular project, coordinating closely with the entire project team, both internal and external. He has extensive experience in mechanical investigation as well as the design and construction for a broad range of facilities, with a particular focus on academic facilities.

Seth Spangler, PE, LEED AP BD+C, BEMP

Southeast Market Leader

As Southeast Market Leader, Seth serves as the overall supervisor of the project management teams, being actively involved in the design and management of all projects within the firm. In his role as Southeast Market Leader, Seth directs, leads and ensures the incorporation of all client requirements, reviews all project deliverables and coordinates and monitors all design and construction activities. He has devoted his energy to leading multi-disciplined engineering groups within the firm.

Matthew Wheeler, PE, CxA, LEED AP

Principal, Commissioning Service Leader

As a firm Associate, Matt is also a Project Manager and Market Leader for the Commissioning team. His approach to commissioning focuses around his operational background.  Shipboard engine room maintenance and landside power generation facility operations work have enabled him to commission through a facility’s staff’s point of view as well as an owner’s. His focus as Project Manager is to leave the owner and maintenance staff with an efficiently operating building that meets all required design criteria and provides a high level of physical comfort to all of its occupants and staff. As the Market Leader, Matt plays a key role in overall firm’s Business Development, including lead development, lead management, pre-proposal contacts, proposal preparation and presentations, client maintenance and Marketing and Business Development leadership for the market.

Thomas Tsaros, PE

Senior Associate, Energy & Infrastructure Service Leader

Tom brings a strong technical and leadership background from over 20 years of experience as a developer and engineer in the energy services industry. As Market Leader, his mission is to identify, cultivate and implement projects and programs to improve our clients’ building infrastructure while reducing and controlling energy costs. Tom is adept at identifying and prioritizing the needs of our clients, while managing the entire project cycle to bring projects to successful completion. He works in concert with developers, engineers, contractors, and utilities to maximize the value of each project.

Karl has over 14 years experience in the design, analysis and construction administration of complex HVAC systems. As Senior Project Manager, Karl works with clients to implement sustainable design projects within a variety of building types. He ensures that all client requirements are met by developing a strong client relationship, from project inception through construction closeout.

Chris Wysoczanski, PE

Senior Associate, Mechanical Group Leader

As a Senior Associate and Mechanical Group Leader within the technical team, Chris is responsible for the design of entire systems from concept through construction, conducting site visits, systems evaluations, cost estimates and specifications. He has provided these services for a multitude of project types in healthcare, education and science and technology markets. As a Mechanical Group Leader, Chris ensures his team delivers quality technical designs to meet buildings owners challenging needs.

Kori Terray, PE

Associate, Engineering Group Leader

As Associate and Engineering Group Leader, Kori acts as the technical leader within the work group to ensure timely, cost-effective completion of each project. She leads the engineering staff in their efforts through schematic, design, production and construction administration project phases. Kori brings a diverse project background and has worked on projects in healthcare, academic, science and technology, and energy and infastructure.

As Associate and Project Manager, Abdullah works with clients to implement sustainable design projects within a variety of building types. He has provided these services for a multitude of project types for various types of clients from academic to healthcare to municipal to science and technology. He ensures that all client requirements are met from project inception through construction closeout by developing a strong client relationship.

As associate at the firm, Stephen also serves as project manager, ensuring the project’s mechanical designs are fully code compliant and up-to-date with industry standards. Terence R. Boland, PE, LEED AP

Principal, Mechanical Engineering Manager

Terry has complete responsibility for the mechanical systems of a project from schematic design through construction administration and he consistently incorporates innovative resources to exceed client expectations. Terry works closely with the Project Managers and other Lead Project Engineers to ensure timely, cost effective completion of a project while communicating progress regularly with the project’s Principal-in-Charge. Terry also manages and develops engineering standards within and across the project’s internal and external team members.

Associate Principal, Electrical Engineering Manager

Cam has a diverse project-based background that includes lead electrical engineering and project management. As a Lead Project Engineer, he acts as the discipline head within the project team. He prepares budgets and schedules and monitors project progress and costs with the Project Managers.

Johanna Brau, CPMP, CCP, LEED AP

Commissioning Engineering Manager

Johanna brings over 15 years of mechanical, plumbing, electrical and fire protection engineering. She serves as engineering manager, leading discipline-specific work groups in the completion of project work and development. She works closely with the project management office, client services, and other engineering managers to ensure the technical maintenance of each portfolio. She works as the discipline head within the commissioning team.

MEP Construction Administrator

In his role as MEP Construction Administrator, Tom coordinates projects from pre-construction to substantial completion and project closeout. Tom keeps project teams apprised of any design or construction issues through regular status updates and construction observations. With over 30 years of experience in facilities operations, construction administration, and consulting; he ensures projects are code compliant working with code officials and projects teams. Tom provides these services for multiple clients including healthcare, academic, municipal and energy & infrastructure.
