Fitzemeyer & Tocci provided full MEP/FP engineering services for this exciting, 200,000-sq-ft project. BAE Systems purchased this existing building and is renovating for laboratory, research, office, conference/presentation and support spaces. The project includes a brand new, stand-alone mechanical chiller plant that provides chilled water to the entire building. Working closely with BAE facility staff, the Construction Manager (Fulcrum Construction) and the Architect (Lavallee Brensinger Architects), F&T has designed individual spaces to specific environmental condition requirements and user fit-up requirements. This project was awarded a 2023 ACEC/MA Engineering Excellence Award.
