The Windham Golden Brook Elementary School project included a significant new addition and extensive renovation to support the town’s growing student population. Located in Windham, New Hampshire, the project was carefully planned to maintain full school operations throughout a 2½-year construction period.

Fitzemeyer & Tocci worked closely with Banwell Architects and Construction Manager DEW to develop a phased design strategy that allowed for continuous occupancy while ensuring construction efficiency and safety. Phase 1—the new addition—was successfully completed and opened to students in 2018, providing modern learning spaces and enhanced educational amenities. Phase 2, which focused on the renovation of the existing facility, was completed in time for the start of the 2019 school year.

F&T provided full MEP/FP engineering services for both phases, delivering high-performance systems that support energy efficiency, indoor air quality, and long-term reliability—all within a flexible design framework suited for a dynamic educational environment.
