The Success Studio at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) serves as a vital hub, providing students with academic advising, support services, accessibility resources, and workshops to help them thrive. To enhance this essential space, Fitzemeyer & Tocci provided expert MEP/FP engineering services for renovations in Beatty Hall.

Our scope of work included the removal of ten unit ventilators in classrooms, capping steam and chilled water pipes for future flexibility, and reconfiguring ducted fan coil units to optimize climate control. Additionally, we implemented HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection upgrades throughout the facility, improving key areas such as classrooms, breakout rooms, reception areas, hallways, and workshops.

Through these enhancements, WPI’s Success Studio now offers a modernized, efficient, and supportive environment, reinforcing its mission to empower students on their academic journey.
