Fitzemeyer & Tocci provided comprehensive MEP/FP engineering design services for the addition and renovation of the Wilbur H. Palmer Career and Technical Education (CTE) Center. This state-of-the-art facility serves as a vital resource for students, offering a hands-on learning approach that prepares them for success beyond high school while also functioning as a dynamic community hub.

In addition to providing cutting-edge educational spaces, the center houses several businesses open to the public, including a restaurant, café, flower shop, kennel, and the Alvirne Farm, further enhancing real-world learning opportunities for students.

F&T’s MEP/FP scope of work included HVAC design for new heating, cooling, ventilation, exhaust, and building control systems. The project also involved the reconfiguration and modification of the existing domestic cold and hot water, sanitary waste, storm drainage, and natural gas systems. Fire protection upgrades included the design of an NFPA-13 compliant fire sprinkler system, ensuring enhanced safety throughout the facility. Electrical design encompassed new power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and raceway support systems, providing modern and reliable infrastructure.
